Dearborn, Switzerland, Ohio Counties, Indiana PERSI Index

Since this summer, I have been collecting genealogy periodical articles that discuss Dearborn, Ohio and Switzerland counties in Indiana. I started indexing the names in these articles and have put them online. It is a work in progress and as I obtain more articles, I will update the index.

These articles are all listed in PERSI for these counties. PERSI is the PERiodical Source Index created by the Genealogy Center at the Allen County Public Library as a finding aid for genealogy articles. PERSI can be searched through Ancestry and Heritage Quest by surname, place and topic. I found that my ancestors were not found in the surname search but were in articles about the county, so I decided to collect the articles and make an index.

The index gives given name, surname, type of articles and article number. If you would like more information about what is in the article, you can find it at your local library, order a copy from ACPL, or send me a request. I will get back to you when I have time.
